Should my toes touch the front of the boot?

No. There should be space in front of your longest toe, and ideally you are able to wiggle your toes inside of the boot.

Since these boots have a reinforced leather toecap, the toebox is not going to stretch much with wear. If you are feeling discomfort in your toes, you likely need a bigger boot.
